Prayer of the Day (Proverbs 3:34)
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with humble hearts, acknowledging our need for Your grace and mercy. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:34, "Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly." Lord, we seek to embody the spirit of humility, recognizing that it is through our lowliness that we can truly experience Your abundant grace.
A Prayer for Humility
As we navigate the complexities of life, we often encounter moments of pride and self-sufficiency. We confess that there are times we have scorned others or regarded ourselves as better than those around us. Forgive us, Lord, for these moments of arrogance. Help us to release our judgments and embrace a heart that is open and compassionate.
Lord, grant us the wisdom to see ourselves through Your eyes. Teach us that true strength lies not in our accomplishments or status but in our ability to serve others and to lift those who are struggling. May we always remember that humility opens the door to Your grace, which sustains us in our trials and uplifts our spirits in times of need.
Embracing Your Grace
