Prayer of the Day (John 13:34)
Heavenly Father,
As we gather in Your presence today, we are reminded of the profound commandment that Your Son, Jesus Christ, imparted to us. In John 13:34, He instructed us to love one another as He has loved us. This call to love is not merely a suggestion; it is a divine directive that challenges us to reflect on the depth of our compassion and understanding toward each other.
Embracing the Call to Love
Lord, help us to embrace this call with open hearts. May we recognize that love is not always easy, especially in times of conflict or misunderstanding. Yet, it is in these moments that we most need Your grace to flow through us. Teach us to love selflessly, to forgive generously, and to extend kindness even when it is difficult.
